From Grassroots Activism to Global Partnerships: Scaling the "Get Your Kits Out" Mission.

The Visionary & The Friction

Zoe McHugh is a powerhouse activist who channeled her passion for football into 'Get Your Kits Out'. A festival celebrating women and fashion in football culture. While the teams creative drive was unstoppable, scaling the mission required navigating a "corporate gauntlet".

As the festival moved toward growth, it encountered Mission-Drag:

  • The Outreach Void: There was no repeatable logic or system for identifying and pitching to major corporate partners.

  • Negotiation Friction: Zoe faced uncertainty when negotiating with high-level entities like the FA, fearing she might compromise the festival’s authentic values.

  • The Transitional Barrier: A need to shift from community organiser to a confident, systematic business negotiator.

The Figby Logic

We joined Zoe as a strategic partner to install the "Blue" structural integrity her vision required, acting as a co-pilot for the high-stakes negotiation process.

  • The Partnership Engine (SOP): We collaboratively developed a clear Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for corporate outreach. This included rigorous target identification, pitch deck architecture, and automated follow-up sequences.

  • Strategic Calm: We provided coaching to break down complex messaging, ensuring Zoe could walk into pitch meetings with her infectious personality at the center and a solid business case as the foundation.

  • Real-Time Support: We provided "night-and-day" support during active negotiations to ensure Zoe held firm on her worth while securing the necessary financing.

The Shift (The Results)

When a powerful mission meets refined operational logic, the results are immediate and measurable.

  • Major Sponsorship Secured: The festival successfully landed multiple corporate sponsors, validating its market value.

  • The FA Landmark: Our strategic approach resulted in a partnership with the Football Association (FA), who shared the Women’s FA Cup trophy at the event—significantly raising the festival's national profile.

  • Operational Confidence: Zoe gained more than a check; she gained a repeatable system that allows her to engage future partners without losing her voice.
